An assembly language program is a set of instructions written in proper sequence.
There are 74 types of opcodes and 246 instructions in the 8086 microprocessor
instruction set.
The result of any arithmetic or logic operation is always stored in accumulator.
The condition bits in the flag register can be used to take logical decision within
the program.
The instruction set of the microprocessor 8085, can be classified into three categories :
(i) Operation performed by the instruction (ii) Length of instruction
(iii) Addressing mode of instruction.
Each instruction of the 8085 microprocessor has two specific information fields :
(i) Operation code and (ii) Operand.
